This is Amir’s 12th year at Watershed school teaching math. Amir earned a BSE in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Prior to Watershed, Amir taught at the Colorado Outward Bound School, where he enjoyed traveling the world climbing and teaching, and at Eagle Rock School and Professional Development Center in Estes Park, CO where he obtained his teaching license in secondary math. Amir has also worked at the Wyatt Edison Charter School in Denver and internationally at the American School of Marrakesh.
Born in Boulder, CO, Amir left for 15 years before returning. Amir likes to climb, trail run, backpack, and travel, and is married to a 5th/6th-grade elementary school teacher.
