Cinder Trout

Art & Design Educator



Cinder Trout has an Associates of Arts in Business from Colorado Mountain College, a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado Boulder. Additionally, she has done graduate work in Architecture at the University of Colorado Denver, studied architecture for a semester abroad at Scuola Leonardo Da Vinci in Firenze, Italy. Cinder has also done graduate studies in art & photography from California College of Arts San Francisco.

Before becoming a Watershed educator, Cinder was an upper-division Architecture Core Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado, and has co-led the Spirit of Creativity course in San Francisco for two years. She has visited Italy, France, Belgium, Canada, Singapore, China, Taiwan, Switzerland, Mexico, Hong Kong, Spain, Netherlands, England, Bahamas, and Thailand.

Cinder was born in Colorado and grew up on a ranch just west of Steamboat Springs. She enjoys yoga, outdoor concerts, photography, crushing tacos, antiquing, traveling, helping at her family's cattle ranch, tinkering at home in her art studio in Lafayette, and cuddling up to her sweet 13-year old daughter, Tori, watching movies.
