Middle School Educator
Eva earned a BA in Biology at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR: BA Biology focusing on marine biology, and minoring in Environmental Studies. Eva is a Watershed Alumni, part of the graduating class of 2011. She taught at The School for Field Studies and Center for Marine Resource Studies in Turks & Caicos Islands where she was a waterfront intern and designed and oversaw field exercises for university students in marine biology and environmental policy.
Eva grew up in Nederland Colorado and spent much of her childhood in Namibia, where she worked alongside her parents studying desert elephants and lions. Eva is passionate about travel and has studied and lived in 15 countries. Eva is also an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoys whitewater rafting, sea kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, cross-country skiing, and backpacking. She has worked as an outdoor educator and wilderness instructor for four years. Eva is at home in the water, and she enjoys sharing her love for the ocean and the marine environment by teaching SCUBA diving.
