Tegan has a BA in Education from New Mexico State University and a Masters in Deaf Education from Gallaudet University. She has been involved in different forms of deaf education for people of all ages for many years. Tegan has traveled through Wales, England, Scotland, Germany, Austria, Mexico, Canada, Tanzania, Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
After moving from Swansea, Wales, Tegan spent the second half of her childhood in Los Alamos. She has three children- two Watershed graduates and one current junior and a husband of many years. Tegan spends as much time as possible outdoors and enjoys skiing, biking, yoga, reading and playing cards with her family.
