A Watershed education is an investment in a child who loves coming to school every day, a young person who develops a strong sense of self, and a graduate prepared to take on the world's greatest challenges.

Base tuition for the 2019-2020 school year is $24,000. Tuition is the same at all grade levels.

Tuition includes costs for all classroom books and materials other than ordinary school supplies or the need to bring a laptop with Internet access.

experiential programs fee

A Watershed education extends well beyond the classroom. Our Experiential Programs Fee covers all costs (including airfare) associated with Wilderness programs, field work, expedition trips, Intensive courses, and May Term study and travel. There are no additional fees beyond outdoor gear students may need to purchase for personal use in high school wilderness or middle school orientation programs.

For 2019-2020, the Experiential Programs Fee is:

  • $2000 for grades 6-7

  • $2700 for 8th grade

  • $3500 for grades 9-12

Financial assistance program

40% of Watershed families benefit from financial assistance that is designed to help families with the cost of tuition and is based on demonstrated financial need. Financial assistance awards may range from 5% to 100% of tuition, but do not cover our Experiential Program Fees. There is a wide range of families who qualify.

The school encourages families to apply if the cost of tuition is a barrier to attending Watershed. For more information on our Financial Assistance Program, click here.
