Jen received a B.A. in Education with minors in English and Human Development and her teaching license from Prescott College in Prescott, AZ.  She taught Advanced 7th and 8th Grade English at Granite Mountain Middle School, Prescott, AZ from 2006-2008 and 8th, 9th, and 10th grade English at Killington Mountain School, Killington, VT from 2008-2009.  She was a program manager and instructor at Rustic Pathways from 2007-2008 and led a variety of community service and adventure travel programs in rural communities in Thailand and Peru. Jen has been with Watershed School since 2009 as a humanities educator, college counselor, and program coordinator.

Jen was born and raised in Sheffield, a small town in the Appalachian Mountains of Western Massachusetts. Outside of teaching at Watershed, her favorite ways to spend time include anything with her family, traveling, knitting, skiing, camping, hiking, playing music, coloring, and baking.
