why Give?
A Watershed education is hands-on and staff-intensive. Our budget is shaped by the need to maintain a low staffing ratio and the resources to take students across town and the world. As with independent schools across the country, philanthropic support covers approximately 10% of our school’s operating budget. We are deeply grateful for the many current families, alumni, parents of alumni, and friends of the school who give to the Watershed Fund every year!
The Watershed Fund
One of the most important ways you can support Watershed School is to make an annual gift to the Watershed Fund, which provides critical support for the people and programs at Watershed. The Watershed Fund funds educators, supports tuition assistance, and provides for student and facilities needs. Thank you for donating today. The Watershed Fund closes on June 30.
Giving Levels
When we work together as a community, one person’s $25 gift, another’s $2,500 gift, and still another’s $25,000 gift combine to have an overwhelming influence on the education of our students. We hope that all community members will give at the level that works for them. All gifts matter: it is by pulling together as a community that we make the magic happen!
Donors at the Creator ($5,000) level and above are recognized as members of the Leadership Circle. We are deeply grateful for the profound impact gifts from our Leadership Circle members have on the experience of ever student at Watershed.
