Humanities Teacher Candidate
Chloe Burnstein is Watershed’s first humanities teacher candidate as part of the Colorado Teacher Preparation Program! She is earning her initial teaching license through the Friends School Alternative Licensure Program while pursuing a Master’s in Learning, Developmental and Family Sciences from CU Denver.
Originally from Colorado, Chloe spent the last eight years in Montana and Wyoming, after earning her Bachelor's degree at the University of Montana in Missoula, focusing on somatic movement practices, youth and family psychology, and International Leadership. Upon completing her undergraduate studies, she worked as a guide and educator in Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and Glacier National Parks, empowering students in the outdoors. She also has worked as a contract outdoor instructor for independent schools across the U.S.
In her free time Chloe enjoys traveling internationally, backpacking, rafting, climbing, skiing, knitting, and trying her novice hand at silversmithing some of her own jewelery. Chloe will never turn down a backcountry cup of coffee or some good luck glitter before taking on a challenging rapid!
