Meg joins the Watershed community this year while also continuing in her role as Director of Marketing & Communications at Friends School — a natural step forward as we move toward the unification of Watershed and Friends!
Meg’s journey at Friends School began many years ago when looking for a preschool for her oldest son. After professionally joining the Friends community, Meg has filled many roles on the admin team prior to her current position as Marketing & Communications Director. Meg loves telling the story of both schools through design and communications to current and new families.
Before her work in the educational sector, Meg worked in a variety of industries: project manager/marketing director/IT director for an international environmental design firm; manager of a small IT business; freelance marketing for small local businesses; and in the legal field. Meg’s role of mother to her sons, Michael and Jack has brought her the greatest joy; she loves having had privilege to have filled the roles of both parent and staff in the Friends School community.
Meg is originally from Los Angeles, but has lived in Colorado most of her life and feels lucky to live here. She is an avid/obsessed football fan and in her free time, she paints, hikes, rides her bike, and enjoys just about anything outdoors. Meg is also a trained Master Gardener and occasionally helps with residential landscape design when not working in her own yard.
