Water in the west- May term 2023

One of Watershed’s Signature Programs, May Term is a month-long course that integrates in-depth study of a complex topic with overnight travel. In 2023, the “Water in the West” May Term course dove into the essential question, “How can we create an equitable and sustainable relationship with water?” The course culminated in a 100 mile canoe trip down the Green River after which students created a magazine with artwork and written reflections on water use and conservation from ancient times through to present day in the American West.
