What a week! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, Watershed’s second annual Week of Giving not only reached its $350,000 goal but surpassed it, raising an incredible $368,848 for the Watershed Fund! (*And the generosity didn't stop there! As of this writing, we've raised more than $384,000 for the Watershed Fund!)
All week long, our community showed up in a big way. Families, staff, grandparents, alumni, and friends came together to support the experiences that make a Watershed education unique. We also reached 100% staff participation, a meaningful show of support from the people who bring our mission to life every day.
The excitement was amplified by a little extra Watershed spirit! Our Week of Giving coincided with Spirit Week, bringing plenty of energy, school pride, and fun to campus. And just outside the school, our mountain climber poster tracked our progress throughout the week. As donations came in, we moved our climber a little higher up the mountain, marking each step toward our $350,000 goal. By Friday, we'd made it to the summit, and then some!
Beyond the fundraising milestone, these gifts make a real difference in the day-to-day Watershed experience. The Watershed Fund supports outstanding educators, small class sizes, fieldwork, May Term, global travel, and the hands-on learning opportunities that help students grow into capable, curious, and engaged young people.
More than anything, this week was a reminder of what makes Watershed special: a community that believes in its students, invests in their experiences, and shows up to help them thrive.
Thank you to everyone who gave, cheered us on, and brought a little extra spirit to the week. We're grateful to be part of a community that fuels curiosity and creates impact!
The Watershed Fund will remain open until June 30, 2027. Make your gift today!
