Welcome, Stacey!

We're delighted to welcome Stacey Dupont to Watershed this year as our new part-time Learning Specialist.

Stacey brings more than 25 years of experience supporting students and educators as a language arts teacher, reading specialist, instructional coach, and curriculum coordinator. She earned her master's degree as a Reading Specialist from Alfred University in upstate New York and has dedicated her career to helping learners grow, creating meaningful learning experiences, and inspiring a lifelong love of reading and learning.

Her path has taken her far beyond the classroom. Stacey and her husband spent more than two decades living and working in international schools in Taiwan, India, and Saudi Arabia while raising their two children, who are now in college. Those years abroad shaped her perspective as an educator, reinforcing the importance of curiosity, empathy, and learning from different cultures and experiences. Travel, she says, has been one of her greatest teachers, reminding her to embrace new perspectives and appreciate the stories that connect us all.

At Watershed, Stacey will work closely with students to help them build confidence, strengthen their skills, and discover strategies that support their individual learning journeys. Her collaborative approach and deep experience make her a wonderful addition to our learning support team.

Outside of school, Stacey enjoys practicing yoga, getting lost in a good book, planning her next adventure, or simply savoring a quiet cup of coffee.

Please join us in giving Stacey a warm Watershed welcome! We look forward to the knowledge, compassion, and global perspective she'll bring to our community!
